Scultura Sonora” is a performance work that uses a collection of contact microphones to explore the sounds that come from the processing of elements such as wood and stone. The sounds generated by the tools used by the sculptors while creating their artworks are captured by contact microphones and then processed in real time with the use of modular systems, softwares and effects. The uncomfortable and heavy sounds generated by modeling stone and wood are processed in such a way that they become light and pleasant. The transformation of the inner vibrations coming from physical matter is being manipulated for the creation of an improvised sound sculpture in real time in order to create a positive soundscape and meditative effect.
